To protect your right to know, we display the relevant operating system permissions that the product may apply for and use through the following list. You can manage the relevant permissions according to your actual needs;

According to product upgrades, the types and purposes of applying for and using permissions may change. We will adjust the list in time according to these changes;

Please be aware that for the functional and security needs of our business and products, we may also use third-party SDKs, and these third parties may also apply for or use relevant operating system permissions;

In the process of using the product, you may use H5 pages or mini programs developed by third parties. These third-party developed plugins or mini programs may also apply for or use relevant operating system permissions as necessary for business functions;

Android App Permission List

1. Read SD card content (Read storage/photo permission)

Permission Function Description: Provides the function of reading data in phone storage space

Usage Scenario and Purpose: Allows the App to read pictures, files and other content in storage, mainly used to help you publish information, upload avatars and other pictures, files, record crash log information locally, etc.

2. Write/delete SD card content (Write/delete/storage/photo permission)

Permission Function Description: Provides the function of writing to external storage

Usage Scenario and Purpose: Allows the App to write/download/save/cache/modify/delete pictures, files, crash logs and other information

3. Read phone status and identity (Phone permission, device permission)

Permission Function Description: Provides reading of phone device identification and other information. Please rest assured that this permission cannot monitor or obtain any of your call content and information

Usage Scenario and Purpose: Read device call status and identification code, identify device ID, used to complete account login, security protection and other main functions

4. NSMicrophoneUsageDescription (Microphone / Voice Recording)

Permission Function Description: Requests microphone permission to record user voice. During speaking practice, the app records and uploads your voice audio for AI scoring and pronunciation analysis

Usage Scenario and Purpose: Used to record your spoken answers during speaking practice sessions. Audio data is uploaded to our servers for AI speech recognition (ASR) and speaking score evaluation, after which results are returned to you. We do not use your voice recordings for any other purpose or sell them to third parties

5. Sign in with Apple

Permission Function Description: Authenticates users via Apple ID and may collect the user's email address

Usage Scenario and Purpose: Used to help you quickly complete account registration and login. Apple may provide us with your email address (real or private relay) for account binding and notifications

6. User Account System (Username & Password)

Permission Function Description: Collects username, password and other identity credentials required for account registration

Usage Scenario and Purpose: Used to complete account registration, login and account security functions. Passwords are stored in encrypted form and never saved in plain text

7. In-App Purchase (StoreKit)

Permission Function Description: Processes in-app subscriptions and purchases via Apple StoreKit, collecting transaction records and purchase receipts

Usage Scenario and Purpose: Used to complete purchases of membership subscriptions, AI credits and other virtual goods, and to verify entitlements. Purchase records are used for restoring purchases and customer support

8. NSUserTrackingUsageDescription (App Tracking Transparency)

Permission Function Description: Requests permission to track user activity across apps and websites

Usage Scenario and Purpose: Used for analytics, advertising attribution and improving product experience. Only enabled after your explicit authorization. You can withdraw authorization at any time in system settings
